We joined RIBA!
We recently made a strategic decision to become a RIBA Chartered Practice. Whilst not necessary for us to practice as Architects in the UK (this is managed by the Architects Registration Board, also known as the ARB), we felt that becoming RIBA Chartered would demonstrate to our clients our dedication to professionalism, ethical practice and continued professional development.
As a RIBA Chartered Practice we are now committed to operating policies regarding best practice in: Employment; Equality, Diversity and Inclusion; Health and Safety; Environmental Management; and Quality Management.
In addition to this we must conduct ourselves in accordance with the Code of Practice for Chartered Practices which comprises:
- Three principles of professional conduct and practice, Honesty/Integrity, Competence & relationships
- Professional values that support those principles.
Further information on the code can be found here on the RIBA website
