Planning Granted!
We have recently secured planning permission to rework this unique Stable barn within the Middle Aston Estate. On a tricky site, adjacent to sensitive, historic listed structures, our proposals have been developed carefully and sympathetically to be read as a positive addition to the building and local context. The scheme seeks to enhance rather than detract from the existing property, reversing many of the alterations that negatively impact the character of the existing building and setting of adjacent listed structures. Crucially our proposals will result in an improved overall appearance and better functionality of the facility within The Estate.
External alterations will reverse and rationalise the ad-hoc domestic alterations, are arranged to take advantage of the existing openings keeping alterations to the stonework to a minimum and will be contemporary and high quality drawing a distinction between the historic and new building fabric components.
Conversion of internal spaces from a pair of conference rooms into a single larger flexible space support use for larger gatherings for both wedding and/or exhibition type events.
Our proposals are considered to have an overall positive impact on the existing Stable building.
